What is Clean Eating?

Clean eating is a really simple concept. It is about eating fresh, whole, minimally processed and unrefined foods. The concept revolves more about the pathway your food takes from origin to your plate. It is less about eating specific things such as a certain amount of calories, less carbs or more proteins. When you eat clean you avoid foods that have artificial sweeteners, preservatives, and other chemicals. Items like pre-made mixes, "low fat" options, boxed sides and meals are full of chemicals and preservatives.
