​Crock Pot Pulled Chicken


Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breasts, 1 lb chicken thighs (optional 2 lbs chicken breasts)
½ white onion, minced
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1½ cups apple cider vinegar
½ cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
2 Tablespoons tomato paste
3 Tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon sea salt or pink Himalayan salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Tabasco or hot sauce (no sodium)

Directions:
Place chicken in the crock pot. Place all other ingredients in a bowl and mix together. Pour "sauce" over chicken in the crock pot. Set crock pot on low for 8 hours. Toward the end of cook cycle, if possible, pull chicken apart with tongs and mix so sauce is absorbed throughout.
Measure in red container: 1 red and 1/4 purple per serving
