Southwest Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 red onion, minced
2 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme (or 1 tsp dried thyme)
2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
1/2 small sweet bell pepper, chopped finely
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced ( 1/4 of a pepper)
1 tsp lime zest
2 tsp Mrs. Dash grilling steak spice (or any steak spice you have on hand)


Directions:
In a large bowl, mix together the garlic, onion, thyme, cilantro, bell pepper, jalapeno, lime zest, and steak spice. Add the ground turkey and blend it all together with your hands until uniform. Shape the mixture into 4 patties.
To cook, heat a little olive oil/coconut oil in a pan and cook on medium high until no longer pink in the middle or cook them on the grill!
